Login tips for mail.misdmail.org
The mail.misdmail.org site is up. It was down today while updates were applied and the system was restarted.
When logging in for the first time, here is what you need to do:
Use your user name, which is firstnamelastname.
Your default password is your employee ID, which you can access using AESOP or by referencing your paystub.
If you have exhausted the number of attempts allowed for a successful login, the system will lock you out for an hour. Be sure to check your employee ID in AESOP to make sure that you have used the correct one.
When you first login, you are asked to select whether you are visually disabled and what your time zone is. You must respond to these questions to successfully register.
If you access email from home, you will not be able to update your password. Please continue to use your employee ID until further notice.
Your new email address is email@example.com. Mail from outside the District is going to this address exclusively. Mail that goes into GroupWise accounts is being copied and forwarded to your new Exchange accounts, too.
Please continue to let us know if you experience problems. Today was the last Friday that the District is running on summer hours. The Help Desk will return to its usual schedule (7:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday) on Monday morning.
