Prevent Password Hassles! Enroll Now! Detailed Instructions!

Update – As of September 2011, People Password CAN be accessed from outside the MISD network.

Introducing PeoplePassword by Web Active Directory

If you’ve ever forgotten a password during a break, you are familiar with the frustration of being locked out of Exchange and other programs that you need to do your job.

Sometimes passwords expire, which can leave you locked out, too.

To prevent this frustration, all you have to do is enroll in PeoplePassword.

Enrollment Center: Setting up your Account

You do this by logging into the Enrollment Center and answering three challenge questions of your choice.

Click this link to access the Enrollment Center.

You just answer three of the challenge questions, click “Next” to save your work, and you’re finished!

This is a link to a video that can show you what to do once you’ve logged in.

Recovery Center: Accessing your Account

Use the PeoplePassword Recovery Center to reset your Windows password if you forget it.

You can also use the Recovery Center to change your Windows password or unlock your Windows account if you are locked out of Windows.

Click this link to access the Recovery Center.

You will use the same login instructions to access it.

Update – As of September 2011, People Password CAN be accessed from outside the MISD network.

Remember that this system will only help you with Active Directory passwords.

If you experience any problems, please call the Help Desk at 4357. We are here to assist you! 🙂

OK, let’ say I forget my password, so I cannot get on my school computer. So I try to access People Password from home, but I cannot access it because, as it says above, ” For now, this system will be available only from MISD computers.”
So … how do I get my password?

    • You have a couple of options. The Help Desk crew is here during the summer. You may call them at 817.299.4357. PeoplePassword is now available outside the District. That information was posted, but I’ll add it to the original post as an update so that it’s clear. Please reply with other questions or suggestions. You have provided helpful feedback.
