Project SHARE Texas

If you have heard about Project SHARE Texas or have been to professional development this summer and beenProject SHARE Texas asked about your Project SHARE account here is some information that will be helpful.

Project SHARE Texas is a new initiative by The Texas Education Agency (TEA)  that will explore the development and delivery of high quality professional development in an interactive and engaging learning environment. Project Share utilizes a collection of Web 2.0 tools and applications to provide professional development resources for teachers across the state and build professional learning communities where educators can collaborate and participate in online learning opportunities.

Mansfield ISD Project SHARE accounts were created last fall and used mostly by Math and Social Studies teachers. It is available for all MISD educators. Campus training will be provided this year. To determine your username and password for login:

    This is awesome! Not only does it have PD for teachers, but also lesson plan resources that are ideal for integrating technology and reaching special populations such as ELL’s at high school. Teachers can access content area resources that are aligned to state standards. I look forward to seeing how the site grows. I can’t wait to take my first course!
