Want to know which apps are recommended for your iPad? Want to know where you can learn more about them?

Teachers and administrators who have gone through the iPad setup process may be asking which apps are recommended for their devices. The PowerUp! App Catalog described during training, which is accessed by tapping on the icon pictured above, is essentially an MISD app store. Each app within the catalog can be installed free of charge. This isn’t intended to be a comprehensive list. It’s only intnded to serve as a starting point, actually. We think that users will enjoy familiarizing themselves with these nifty tools.

To learn about what the apps do, please visit the and click on the Power Up! Catalog (NEW) link. A description of each app in the catalog is posted for your convenience.

      • If you go to, the list of apps is posted. The PowerUp! app is not published on iTunes because it is for enrolled devices. The other apps are.
