Improvements in MISD-WIFI performance reported today.

We’ve been working with Apple and Cisco on issues related to iPads temporarily losing connection to MISD-WIFI.

A bug was fixed, some settings changed, and other recommended fixes applied. Today, the Help Desk has been quiet, and feedback from the campus staff members we’ve contacted has been positive.

    The students seem to be using wifi with no problems at all now.They are really enjoying being able to do so much research with their new ipads. It has greatly cut down the problem of not having enough computer labs for everyone all the time.

    So far today all reports are that service has been vastly improved on the wireless side as it pertains to iPads.
