“We’re really proud of all of our teams,” said Doug Brubaker, Assistant Superintendent for Technology and Information Services. “For many, this was their first year to participate. They’ve all done very well.”

This year, funding was provided for a robotics team at each K-8 school with the support of an MISD Education Foundation grant and corporate donations.

“In addition to recognizing the hard work of the kids, we want to thank the coaches, parent volunteers, MISD Education Foundation, and donors for all of their support of these students throughout the year,” Brubaker added.

Anyone interested in getting more involved in the program is invited to contact Educational Technology Trainer Ashley Coffman at ashleycoffman@misdmail.org.

The Gators (GIdeon) were so impressed with the Mustangs from Donna Sheppard and all of the MISD teams at UME. They all did such a good job and portrayed FLL core values! We had a great time! Good luck Mustangs!! We are rooting for you!! From your friends at Gideon (Gator Robotics)
