YouTube and Facebook access will need to be suspended within the District for both teachers and students while the conversion to our new internet filter continues. Once that process is complete, different sets of rights can be assigned to teachers and students again. We project completion of this project before the end of September.
The MISD Ed Tech Team unveiled an exciting new set of resources today!
The MISD Educational Technology Channel is a new site that features pictures of the country’s hardest-working students and teachers using the latest interactive technologies, quick links to frequently requested tools such as Eduphoria and SAFARI Montage, and up-to-the-minute bulletins about which teachers have won fabulous prizes!

Every two weeks Educational Technology will recognize teachers with the ARETE Award. Areté is a Greek word meaning “Excellence.” In MISD, ARETE is also an acronym for our new Award for Recognition of Educational Technology Excellence!
